====== Hairpin =======

This is a term used to describe a [[glossary:motif | motif]] of two sequential secondary structures joined
by a loop which folds back on itself to form a 'hairpin' structure. e.g.
[[glossary:beta hairpin | beta hairpin]],[[glossary: alpha_hairpin | alpha hairpin]].
